Reservation Policies

Faculty and T.A.s

Faculty and their associated Teaching Assistants can reserve titles from the Hart MDL's Permanent Collection in order to show videos in their classroom during instruction. Please use the online database to find the video you wish to reserve, then click the "Request a Reservation for this Video" link at the top of the video details window. You will be asked for your UC Davis login ID, class code (e.g. PSC-140), class date, and other information. Someone from the Hart MDL will contact you when we receive the reservation request.

Please place reservation requests 4 days in advance to help us ensure access to the title you requested. Reservation requests do not guarantee the availability of the title.

If you need assistance in locating a video title or have an urgent request, please call 752-2911.

Students

Student access to videos is on a first come, first serve basis in the Hart MDL. We do have several group viewing stations to allow multiple users to watch a video at the same time.
